Chinese Landscapes - Emerald Green

Eduardo Ralita captures, in this contemporary interpretation of the ancient genre of Chinese landscape, the dreamy effect of a universal longing to commune with nature, and the freshness of tropical humidity. When contemplating each of the fourteen pieces in this collection the viewer is drawn into a misty world of ascending paths and distant cliffs,

where a solitary mountain hut or a hermit’s cave can be found, sanctuaries from chaos.

Overlapping planes, rocky foundations, soft waterfalls, and lush emerald greenery represent, beyond a mild brieze and foggy mist, images of the mind and heart of the author, sensual and melancholic representations of his Asian landscape memories.
